Harley Davidson “Confederate Editie” from 1977 

In the AMF era, a year after the "Liberty Edition" (did you ever see one?)
H-D came out with a "Confederate Edition".                                
In the archives of Harley-Davidson itself you will find nothing about it. 
Somewhere on the web, you can even read that one of their employees was  disiplinair punished because he had a sticker with the Rebel flag stuck on  his lunch box.                                                            
The production consisted of 44 FLH's, 228 Super Glides (both electric and 
kickstart, including the Wide Glide.), 299 XL's, 45's and 15 XLT XLCH.
